Quality Family Time With Some Added Bounce!

The largest inflatable festival in the world is heading to the Bay Area! The family-friendly attraction will take over the the Solano County Fairgrounds on April 6th 2019. Bounce houses, Zorb Balls, and inflatable jousting are only a few of the action-packed activities families can expect. The festival also features a one-mile/5K long course chock-full of inflatable obstacles that kids and adults alike can climb, bounce, and maneuver through multiple times. It’s a must-attend inflatable extravaganza!

The Inflatable Festival & Run is a full day of excitement for the whole family.  Go-cart racing, gigantic sponge and water balloon battles, live music, food trucks, face painting, magic shows, and more make this the family festival of the year. And if that already wasn’t enough, Mr. Wacky, the Inflatable Festival’s mascot, will definitely bring a smile to everyone! The best part: all proceeds benefit Just Care More, a foundation focused on supporting at-risk youth and suicide prevention. Event director of the festival, Jamie Leibert discusses the event:

“We wanted to create an event where kids, families, and adult can have an amazing day!  An event where kids aren’t staring at their phones. It’s like one of those indoor bounce places..except outdoors…where kids should be.  We encourage everyone to use this event to reach out to people around their community and invite them out for a day of life, fun, and excitement.”

What makes The Inflatable Run different from other runs?2018-10-23T05:26:34+00:00

The Inflatable Festival & Run, is so much more than just a run. This event is an all-out fair featuring fun activities and interactive attractions. There are tons of activities at each event, which you can learn more about here: theinflatablerun.com/activities . In addition, the 5K run is done in a new style. Instead of a typical 5K course, our course is only 1 mile long. Don’t worry about setting a personal record, kids and parents can choose to complete all three laps at once or complete one and then go enjoy some fun activities for a few hours before completing another lap. The fun times are all up to you!

Instead of a typical 5K course, our course is only 1 mile long and each runner will be able to do three laps around the inflatable obstacle course (3 laps = 5K). There are three obstacle stations, each with three kid-friendly obstacles to choose from. The 5k takes place on paved roads. The course is not on dirt or grass due to the large number of strollers, which can not navigate on grass/dirt. You can choose a different obstacle each lap, or stick with your favorites! Please note that these are kid-friendly obstacles, to accommodate kids of all ages, so they are no larger than 13 feet high. There are also two water stations, so you are never more than half a mile from water.

The event starts at 8 AM, and the gates to the 5k course open at 8:30 am. Everything shuts down at 2 PM. You can arrive at any time between 8 AM and 2 PM and do your three laps at any time during the event! Please keep in mind that there may be a line at the starting gate at 8:30 am.

Yes! We pride ourselves in being a family-friendly event, and this includes the obstacle course! Most inflatable runs only allow children 8+ to attend due to the difficulty of their obstacles, but our obstacles are fun AND kid-friendly, so bring the whole family. (including grandma!)

Do I need to buy the same ticket type as my child?2018-10-23T05:28:48+00:00

No, you do not need to purchase the same ticket type as your child. For example, if you would like to do the run with your child, but you do not want to do all the activities yourself, you can purchase a ticket type for yourself that is ‘ENTRY + 5K RUN’ and for your child you would purchase the ticket type ‘ENTRY + 5K RUN + ALL ACTIVITIES PASS’. If you change your mind on event day, you can always purchase tickets to the activities you would like to do with your child.
